The twenty-first edition of the Yearbook of Spanish Creativity arrives one more year from the Creative Club (C of C) as a result of the moment we live in. On this occasion it has been designed by the DuranaDurana studio from Barcelona, carried out through close collaboration, although from a distance, but with great teamwork. In a situation as difficult as the one we are experiencing, both companies have had to adapt and thanks to the technology that connects us from enormous distances, they have managed to turn the jury members into protagonists and photographers. The yearbook describes people and the relationship that unites them . The graphic tool used has been the ampersand, a ligature that describes the relationship of two things that are closely involved and is used throughout the book to highlight the clients and creatives from all disciplines who have collaborated.
In each campaign. Alba and Axel Durana, responsible for the design, have pointed out that “ The world of creativity lives thanks to open-minded clients who take creative risks without limitations. Only from the good Email Data relationships created between the two, and with the collaboration of other creative accomplices, experts in their fields, who join them by contributing their talent, can successful campaigns arise, such as those included in this yearbook . A good idea is only good when the client also feels excited and participates in it. And this is the message that we wanted to convey thanks to the ampersand, which from the cover and throughout all the pages of the book, highlights the importance of teamwork.
Yearbook of spanish creativity And as in any design, color has been an important element when creating this XXI edition of the Yearbook of Spanish Creativity. The designers have used the black and white tone on all the pages that were not intended to show campaigns in order to easily distinguish those that contain award-winning projects from those that do not. In this way, the design tries to ensure that the images and text complement each other so that it is perceived as less static and thus makes it easier to read . DuranaDurana have worked on a visually attractive and simple structure with the aim of creating a modern graphic piece with personality. «We have tried to create an object book. With an attractive color that gave a nod to the concept itself , well structured and in which the awards were easily recognizable thanks to the layout and the background color," comment the designers.
